CyberGhost VPN Review

CyberGhost is a VPN provider whose purpose is to help a user hide or protect his or her identity while he or she is online. It consists of advanced software that prevents site owners from being able to track an IP address. Its software also allows its users to use websites that are supposed to be censored, and it allows its users to manipulate their identifying information like their country, their IP address, and more. Its VPN services allow users to do secure transactions online so that they do not ever have to worry about getting hacked or monitored.

With CyberGhost VPN, users can register anonymously. They can even separate their payment processes form their main functions to make that more secure as well. As you will see when you read any CyberGhost VPN review, their symbol is a ghost who is giving a thumbs up, and their catchy logo is “reboot the internet”. Currently, the company states that they have close to one million clients, and they are continuing to grow.

Price

Offers are always changing, and people who are interested in getting CyberGhost VPN should subscribe for their twitter or facebook to get update and determine if the product is right for their budget. Currently, they have four different plans with four different price points.

The free CyberGhost VPN plan is actually no cost to new users. Their premium plan carries a price tag of 4.99 Euros per month. Their premium plus plan is just 3 Euros more than the premium plan, and their premium plus plan can be purchased for 7.99 Euros per month.

The free plan is right for people who only want to use the services once in a while for browsing. People who also wish to occasionally download something may be better served by the premium plan. The premium plan is ideal for anyone who wants to download and stream on a regular basis while the premium plus plan is geared toward people who want to use the service without any restrictions.

These rates are charged for users who want a month to month plan (4.99 euro/month), but people can also get discounts, for signing up for three, six, or twelve month terms. The savings for signing up for a longer plan may vary, but the longer plans offer users the chance to save a great deal of money.

Countries Supported

The company offers over sixty servers around the world. They claim that they will add more servers as they attract more users. These servers are primarily based in Europe with a high concentration in Germany. However, there are a few servers that are located outside of Europe. Notably, there are four cities in the United States that are served by CyberGhost servers.

CyberGhost VPN Has servers in country below:
United-States, Sweden, Ukraine, Romania, Russia, Poland, Norway, Netherlands, Italy, United-Kingdom, France, Finland, Spain, Denmark, Germany, Czech Republic, Switzerland

Individuals who sign up for the free VPN do not have access to as many services as people who sign-up for the other levels of service.

Protocols

CyberGhost has L2TP/IPSec, OPENVPN (SSL), PPTP and Free Proxy. When they change a user’s IP address, they change it in a way that makes it look shared with thousands of other people. This technology means that the owners of a website will not be able to track visitors who have visited their site under the CyberGhost cloak.

Customer Support

If a consumer needs help with their CyberGhost account, they have several options. They can consult the website’s list of FAQ’s to see if anyone else has ever had a question about their issue. They can contact the support team by putting in a support ticket, or they can email the appropriate people. Unfortunately, the company does not offer their clients the chance to call and talk to a live person, they do offer a chat support feature on their website but most of the time, offline. Emails for support should be sent to support@cyberghost.com, and they can be sent in English or German.
Money Back

Clients who are worried about spending money on a product that they may not like should try CyberGhost’s free preview offer because the company does not currently offer any money back guarantees for their services.

Traffic

All of the CyberGhost traffic is metered. The traffic that a customer can get depends upon the type of plan that they purchase. All plans are now unlimited. The free plan includes speed that maxes out at 1mbit/s. The premium plan allows unlimited traffic with unlimited speed.

Speed

The speed of their services vary depending upon the user’s locations. Users in Germany will experience the fastest speeds, but most users will find their speeds suitable for streaming and surfing.

Supported Devices

CyberGhost VPN is compatible with Android, iPad, and iPhones. It supports a variety of applications including Firefox, Opera, Internet Explorer, and more.

Supported OS

This VPN works with most of the top operating systems like Linux, Mac OS, and Windows 7 and Windows XP.

Free Trial

Cyberghost offer free plan with 1 mbits speed on openvpn protocol. You can sign up and use it freely.

Others

People who opt to use CyberChost will love that the company accepts multiple forms of payment including PayPal and credit cards. They will also love how they can use public WiFi or 3G safely and securely thanks to CyberGhost. CyberGhost also removes any scripts that pose a threat to the user’s privacy. 1. “Where’s written everybody likes what “americans” do?” ummm, you seem to have completely, totally, and utterly missed the point of the “Romans” phrase. There’s no stipulation that, if you go to “America”, you WOULD like what Americans do; nonetheless, you SHOULD still do as they do, cuz you’re in their house. That would seem to be the thrust of China’s, and in this case, Gates’ argument…if Google is to play in China, she SHOULD do as the Chinese government wants her to do, whether Google likes it or not. Now, a visitor to the US who disapproves of how Americans do things can certainly complain about it; so too can Google in China. As for what such complaints achieve? Tough to say
